Introduction to Rowan Henry - our new President

Having left the Cathedral Choir School 10 years ago this year, I am extremely privileged to become the next society President. Taking up this role during a pandemic I am conscious of what the President, Council and society need to do for the School and its community. I have started this year off by revitalising the Business Networking Hub to gather all the expertise and experience from hundreds of alumni. I implore as many people as possible to please sign up to the website and ‘Volunteer as a mentor’ or ‘Register your business’ to give a little insight into your career, and we will showcase this to current students to give as much support as possible. We have a unique opportunity here as one of the few schools in Bristol with such a dedicated alumni society. In my working life I am the Coordinating Scientist for COVID-19 inpatient testing in an NHS hospital, and currently live in North London. During my time at the Cathedral and then Cathedral Choir School I was a proud Abbot (obviously) and ended Year 13 as Head Boy. I look forward to working with you all and being in contact remotely or hopefully face-to-face at events in the future. |
